The 2-Day Surf Camp Itinerary

Day 1: Finding Your Balance & Catching White Water

09:30 AM – Meet & Gear Up: We meet at the surf school, grab your correctly fitted wetsuit, and pick the perfect board for your height and weight.

10:00 AM – Session 1 (The Basics): Warm-up on the sand followed by ocean safety. You'll head into the waist-deep white water to practice your paddling and first pop-ups.

12:30 PM – Beachside Lunch: Enjoy a fresh tagine or grilled fish, accompanied by Moroccan mint tea, while relaxing under the sun.

02:30 PM – Session 2 (Refining the Technique): Back in the water! Your coach will give you personalized feedback to help you stand up longer and ride the wave all the way to the shore.

05:00 PM onwards – Sunset & Medina Vibes: Explore the historic ramparts of Essaouira, listen to live Gnawa music, and enjoy the magical coastal sunset.

Day 2: Riding Unbroken Waves & Exploring New Spots

09:30 AM – Spot Check & Road Trip: Depending on the swell, we might head 20 minutes south to the wild beaches of Sidi Kaouki or stay in the sheltered Essaouira Bay.

10:30 AM – Session 3 (Going Green): Today, we aim for the "green waves" (unbroken waves). Your instructor will help you time your paddles and learn how to turn the board left or right.

01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch: A relaxing break on the beach to share stories and photos from the morning.

02:30 PM – Session 4 (Free Surf & Graduation): Put everything you've learned into practice during a supervised free-surf session.

04:30 PM – Photo Review & Departure: Pack up, grab your surf camp certificate (and high-res photos of your best waves!), and say goodbye to the ocean.
