Born and raised in Essaouira, El Mehdi Foum-Errabah has surfed since age 8 on Sidi Kaouki and the bay beaches. In 2016 he founded Book Surf Camp Essaouira with a clear vision: a professional, human and demanding school where every student progresses safely toward autonomy.
ISA Level 3 and IKO Level 3 certified, he oversees pedagogy, spot selection and ongoing team training. His approach: read ocean and wind, teach solid technique and respect for the sea — so you leave riding with confidence, not just standing up once.

Kitesurf (IKO)
IKO Discovery
Kite on land, wind window, safety. First body drags in protected bay.
IKO Level 1–2
One-hand control, water starts, cruising. Sidi Kaouki lagoon progression on flat water.
IKO Level 3+
Jumps, transitions, strong-wind riding. Instructor radio headset, boat assist when needed.
Windsurf
Beginner
Balance, sail position, first runs in the bay. Flat water mornings — ideal for starters.
